Returns and the costs associated with them can be a frustrating part of any ecommerce business. Having said that when they are managed correctly with the tips and tricks below we can help you mitigate these costs and help increase your overall profit numbers.

Avoid missing return windows

The Walmart sellers account link below will take you to a page where you can view returns submitted by your Walmart customers.  You will want to check this page daily and submit a return request on amazon (or any source) for all new orders that appear in this view. This way you can request the return label sometimes weeks before the item arrives. This should significantly reduce the number of items that may miss their return window.

Avoid paying for return shipping labels

When this is done properly, RealArb has reports that show you may only have to pay for a return shipping labels 5% of the time. The label when this does occur averages roughly $7. At this time we are showing a 12% overall return rate for all of our Walmart US storefronts. Roughly this comes out to a $0.07 cost average for all orders.

At this time we are able to hit that 5% due to the reason we select when submitting the return on our amazon buying account. We have provided the he 2 reasons below.
