At this time Walmart is not accepting all sellers that apply. Because of this you will want to give yourself the best shot at being accepted. Below are some tips based off of reports we have gotten back from clients who have been successfully accepted as a Walmart marketplace seller. These tips/reports can help increase the percentages of being successfully accepted as a Walmart marketplace seller. The following tips are not a requirement and may not lead to Walmart accepting your application.

3. Walmart is not accepting smaller sellers. Clients with larger numbers have had higher reports of success. This is in regards to both revenue and catalog size. RealArb will be able to set you up with a catalog of roughly 400,000+ items. 


4. We have reports of clients having more success selecting shoes or apparel. At this time Walmart is not requiring a seller only works with the category selected here.

7. Walmart will request proof of your ecommerce background 

Another aspect you will need to prepare for is that Walmart will also ask you to provide an ecommerce storefront you already sell on. This store front will have to have positive and numerous reviews proving to Walmart that you have a successful background in ecommerce. 


Also your catalog on the store front you provide Walmart will have to be very large and the category of products displayed will have to match the category you selected in the Walmart application.
